Sambhota Tibetan School CVP Bylakuppe is located in the Tibetan Dickey Larsoe Settlement, Bylakuppe, Karnataka. On 5th May 2018, this school was taken over by Sambhota Tibetan Schools Society (STSS) under Central Tibetan Administration( CTA) Dharmasala from Central Tibetan Schools Administration (CTSA) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt.of India. The school at present is run under STSS Dharmasala.

The School was established in the year 1971 and has remained as branch School of Central School for Tibetans Bylakuppe till 1974. It became an independent unit after 1974 and got CBSE affiliation in the year 1991. Just now under STSS, the school has three branch Preprimary School namely TDL 1 and 2 branch school and one preprimary branch at Chowkur Tibetan settlement. 

 

The motto of the school is Higher and Still Higher.

Mission:- To take the children to such a height where their talents and capacities find full expression. Where the light of knowledge illumines every heart and where the Divine Spirit is manifested in action and deeds.

The school at present is Secondary School with Classes I to X and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Tibetan is the medium of instruction at the primary level while English in Class VI and above. All the classes follow the textbooks published by the NCERT as prescribed by CBSE.

 

This school is running classes from I to X besides three Pre-primary schools and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Tibetan is the medium of instruction at the primary classes while English in middle and secondary classes & follows the textbooks published by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) as prescribed by CBSE.
